On the back of the cardboard there is a sketch in oil of a hunter with a rifle. The background of the hunter is the same as the background of the portrait of Miss Weber-Honegger, which Goovaerts made in 1903 in Rüti (Switzerland). Probably the self-portrait on the front is painted in the same period. |
