| Remarks | The correspondence between Henri Goovaerts and his teachers at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam shows that Goovaerts was in Granada in September and October 1893 (reference: the archive of the Rijksakademie Amsterdam, Rijksarchief voor Noord-Holland (Haarlem), file 239). The painting is currently only known from a photograph of circa 1980. The colors of the actual painting may differ from the colors on this picture. |
